trinidat-timetracker: working time recording that strengthens team spirit

Larks and owls: Early risers and night owls come together in almost every team. This is also the case at trinidat: Claudia from the accounts department is already full of beans at 6 a.m., while team leader Joachim prefers to sleep in at this time and only really gets going in the evening. The fact that both still have to record the same working hours sometimes causes friction in everyday life. With our internally developed solution for recording working hours, the trinidat-timetracker, we build a bridge between the two chronotypes, strengthen team spirit and ensure fairness and transparency.
Our team leader Julian explains how the in-house development came about and what the application can do.
Interview with team leader Julian:
How did the development come about?
A few years ago, our managing director Christoph initiated a project to program an in-house time recording system, which a colleague and I then developed further. It was important to us to perfect the user-friendliness. That’s why we built in graphical overviews, calendars and dashboards, for example. Our aim was to create an application for internal and external use that not only meets the legal requirements for working time recording, but is also fun and easy to use.
What can the application do?
The program is virtually self-explanatory, every new employee – not just programmers – can work with the software from day one with virtually no training. This user-friendliness and clarity of the functions, such as time recording, vacation requests, sick notes, customer appointments, etc., are the big plus of the compact application, even in comparison to often oversized and correspondingly complex software in this area. The simple handling and the possibility of using the software from anywhere and at any time from all possible devices are the great advantages.

Can other companies also use the program?
Yes, timetracker is designed so that companies of all sizes can benefit from it. Granular assignment of rights, multi-client capability and individual role assignment ensure that companies with parent companies and subsidiaries, various administrative and production sites can also map their working time recording centrally in one software. This makes the application ideal for use on terminals in production halls by employees without a computer workstation. The backend remains the same, the user interface can be individually customized and adapted precisely to the needs of the company. There is also the option of interfaces to all kinds of other systems, such as an ERP system. This means that timetracker can be used to record and analyze not only working times, but also production costs and times. Security aspects such as door controls for office complexes can also be connected to the timetracker via API.
