Bits, backups and beer: team event with brewery tour

A different kind of training was on the agenda for Team Regina and Joachim on Friday. After programming, the developers and team leaders drove together to Korschenbroich to the local brewery Bolten, where beer has been brewed for over 750 years. There, the trinidat team was expertly introduced to the secrets of the art of brewing. After a short “warm up” with drinks and snacks, we went into the brewery, where Tim from the Bolten brewery answered all the questions about production at the oldest Altbier brewery in the world.

After the obligatory beer tasting, we had dinner together in the adjoining “Landwirtschaft” restaurant, where we naturally sampled one or two Pilsner and Alt beers. Group leader Regina was definitely very satisfied with the team event: “Lots of fun, delicious cold drinks and a relaxed get-together – that’s what makes team building so much fun.”
