“How can I help you today?” – it’s not just ChatGPT that asks us this question. A whole range of other exciting AI applications can and should make everyday work easier for users, increase productivity and make routine processes more efficient. At the Navigator Festival, the AI business festival at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf, trinidat not only discovered many exciting tech trends relating to AI. We were also able to talk directly to some of the thought leaders and pioneers of AI development in Germany and gain valuable insights for software development at trinidat.
Particularly exciting: a special GPT for the production of aluminum alloys, which, according to the company, redefines the material development of the future. In a personal discussion, company boss Henning Fehrmann explained to us how the AI-controlled “MatGPT” system from Fehrmann MaterialsX accelerates and optimizes the process of finding and developing ideal materials for projects.
Edip Saliba from the Data&AI team at Microsoft Germany demonstrated the opportunities generative AI offers companies and how companies can build their own solutions securely. The focus was on the possibilities offered by Microsoft Copilot to provide intelligent support in real time in applications such as MS Teams. This allows users to generate conversation summaries and evaluate email correspondence in seconds. In his keynote speech, Edip Saliba showed how such AI-based functions actually increase productivity.
The developments in AI-supported face and gesture recognition are exciting and also a little spooky. The AI Village, an innovation campus for artificial intelligence, presented a system for image and video processing in real time. Developed by tech start-up irisnet, the system has impressive capabilities for recognizing people and objects, which we were able to test directly on site.
