From industry to software development - a path with vision
Tobias Geisler is not a traditional software developer – and that is exactly what makes him special. After training as a materials technician and metallographer and studying mechanical engineering with a focus on production control, planning and materials technology, his career path took him into the world of special machine construction. There he designed and assembled machines worldwide before moving to a globally active medium-sized company.
His ability to analyze and optimize technical processes led him to the field of production optimization and finally to international purchasing. As a member of the purchasing management team, he was responsible for teams in Mexico, the USA, China and Germany and recognized the enormous potential of digitalization and automation for companies. Working closely with suppliers, he developed innovative technology solutions, some of which were even patented.
The path to software development
Tobias Geisler built the bridge to software development through his intensive involvement with automation technology. He understands the language of companies – both commercially and technically – and is able to translate requirements optimally into software solutions. He recognized the potential of artificial intelligence early on and used it to optimize measurement processes. He always thinks outside the box to develop innovative solutions for companies.
Entrepreneur, family man, thought leader
In addition to his professional commitment, Tobias Geisler is one thing above all: a family man. As the father of three sons, he spends a lot of time on the soccer pitch, building knights’ castles and trucks out of Lego.
Together with his wife, who is also heavily involved in his career, he masters the balancing act between management, software development and family. Traveling together and spending quality time with the five of them are the main focus. Sporting activities are often neglected at the moment, but he takes this with a sense of humor: “Without my great wife, it would be hard to juggle it all.
